William C. Mohlenbrock, M.D.

Dr. Mohlenbrock has practiced
orthopaedic surgery for more than 25 years at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA, in addition to serving as assistant clinical professor of surgery at the University of California, San Diego since 1973.
In 1983, he co-founded Iameter and developed the Acuity Index Method, which is Iameter’s clinical information system for monitoring and improving quality and cost-efficient medical care. The compelling need to improve physicians’ office productivity and to monitor ambulatory quality prompted him to collaborate with Dr. James Blasingame to found
Cobalt Medical, Inc. in 2004.
Dr. Mohlenbrock received his BS degree from the University of Illinois and his MD from the St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is a noted lecturer and has published numerous articles on measuring and improving medical quality and cost efficiencies. He is a member of the American Medical Association and holds fellowships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons and the American College of Physician Executives.
Timothy M. Breen,
Vice President, Healthcare

Mr.
Breen has more than 11 years experience in the healthcare field, with a background in software development and systems engineering. His experience includes processing of hospital and clinical data sets, patient satisfaction survey data collection, and patient record dictation processing within the physician office. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Davis.
Mr. Breen has been with Iameter for over 10 years, starting as a software engineer, and progressing to his
role as the
Chief Information Officer of Iameter with Verras Medical Inc., and
now in his current role as VP of Healthcare IT with Crossflo Systems. As a software engineer, he helped develop the current back-end data processing components. Taking on an expanded role, he successfully brought the Sherlock™
version 3 decision-support application through the final beta testing and release efforts.
He also led Iameter's development changes and verifications needed
to fully support the Joint Commission's ORYX®
Hospital Core Measures. As a
Chief Information Officer and also as VP of Healthcare IT, Mr. Breen’s responsibilities include maintenance of existing information system infrastructure, integration of new technology to upgrade existing product lines, and support of new development.
M. Terri Ortiz,
Director of Operations
Ms. Ortiz joined Iameter (Verras
Medical, Inc.) in March of 2002 as the Office Administrator for
our company headquarters in San Mateo, CA. Since that time her
responsibilities have been progressively expanding and she now
holds the title of Director of Operations. Her duties include
managing all the day-to-day activities of the office.
Ms. Ortiz has had a diversified
career most recently as the Property and Business Tax Manager
for Gap, Inc. Prior to that she has worked in the finance
department for several large electronic firms, spent 5 years as
legal assistant at a mid-size law firm in the Bay Area, and has
successfully run her own sales and property tax consulting
business.
